Well its time to kick things back into gear again. Most of you should be well rested with holidays, travels, and interviews a thing of the past. From the looks of the pictures and stories from the trips to Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles, it appears that many of you had a blast over the break that far exceeded the fun that I was able to muster up while preparing for interviews. Fortunately, after last semester I have really honed my ability to live vicariously through others.

With the Spring Semester freshly about, MBA2's can make their final push to give everyone something to remember them by, while MBA1's get the opportunity to loosen up a bit. That's good news, as I expect that most will begin to refocus priorities on the real reason we all signed up for Business School… "networking" with one another across New York's night scene. Please excuse the MBA1's that show up to bars with suits and name tags. I am sure that this habit will subside eventually.

Just to touch on a few things… The Langone Program is breaking in a new class for the semester. So, welcome to all of the new students at NYU! January weather in New York has been unreal as of late. It kind of makes you wonder at what expense we are getting this beautiful, unseasonable weather. Lastly, be sure to file your FAFSA for 2006 / 2007 if applicable.

I will close out this edition of my editorial by calling on any MBA1's that might be interested in contributing to The Oppy to shoot me an email or otherwise talk to me in the hallways. The second year writers will only be here for so much longer, and we need to create a larger base of first year contributors to continue into next year. I have considered planning a dinner, for anyone interested, to discuss the submission process and ways to get involved with The Opportunity. Once I get things together, I will post further information in The Oppy. Also of note, in the near future we will be looking for someone to fill an editorial position soon to be vacated by Matthew McClintock. If you have any questions regarding this position, feel free to send them to opportun@stern.nyu.edu.
