About the Alumni Council

The Alumni Council comprises nearly 30 Stern alumni and three students representing the graduate and undergraduate programs. Each alumnus/a member is appointed by the Dean's office to serve a two-year term. Prior to their appointment, all alumni members have been active volunteers in the Stern community by participating in mentor programs, speaking in a class or student conference, or serving on one of the various task forces and committees established by the Council. These task forces and committees focus on areas that create opportunities for alumni to strengthen ties with the Stern community, including programming, career development, regional alumni activity, recent graduate outreach, as well as industry-specific, alumnae network and underrepresented minority alumni engagement.

For questions regarding Council initiatives, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at (212) 998-4040 or alumni@stern.nyu.edu.
